Through The Looking Glass - The Art of Chamber Music is a series of presentation recitals exploring chamber music from different angles designed specifically for wider audiences, particularly for people who have little or no exposure to classical music or chamber music in particular. The format and presentation of our programs are interactive, dynamic, with carefully chosen pieces and thoroughly prepared material - the best way to help our listeners get acquainted with one of the cornerstones of classical music.
Our team members are professional musicians who hold a MM in performance or higher degrees. They maintain intensive performing and teaching careers. As avid chamber music performers they regularly play with various groups throughout the Boston area and beyond.
Our guests are acclaimed musicians who have established well known careers in Boston's classical music scene and beyond, and who share our passion for classical music.
We consider ourselves fortunate and privileged to be doing what we love most, and as such we feel an obligation to bring the amazing world of musical collaboration to as many people possible. Our community outreach program is perfect for libraries, museums, and community centers. It gives us a sense of deep satisfaction, a feeling of fulfillment, and enormous pleasure to play for our communities. We also are ready to bring the magic to your living room or private function.
